1 cup warm water
2 eggs, lightly beaten
2 tbsp vegetable oil
4 1/2 cups bread flour
1 tbsp sugar
1 tbsp yeast
1 egg, beaten
kosher salt [optional]
poppy seeds [optional]

Place water, 2 eggs, and oil in bread machine pan. Add flour, sugar, and yeast in a hollow atop the mound of flour. Run the bread machine on the dough cycle (number 13). Remove the dough and braid. Place on parchment paper, under a towel, and let rise for 1 hour. Paint with the remaining egg and sprinkle with salt and seeds. Bake at 375° F for 1 hour.
