Shopping List:
pasta shells or spirals
turkey sausage (or beef or ham)
mixed vegetables
cheddar cheese
8 oz dried pasta shells or spirals
2/3 cup cooked turkey sausage (or ham or beef)
12 oz cooked mixed vegetables
oil

2 tbsp butter
2 tbps flour
1 1/4 c milk
1 1/2 c grated cheddar cheese
1-2 tsp mustard
salt and ground pepper

Cook the pasta and drain. Place in a casserole dish with the meat, vegetables, and 1-2 tsp oil.

Melt the butter in a saucepan, then stir in the flour. Cook 1 minute, still stirring. Remove from heat and gradually stir in milk. Return to heat, bring to boil, and cook 2 minutes. Add half the cheese and mustard and seasonings to taste.

Spoon the sauce over the meat and vegetables. Sprinkle with remaining cheese and broil quickly until golden and bubbling.
